GCASD Title 1 is a 'targeted assistance program'.  We want to provide parents with more opportunities to understand Title 1, have input into the Title 1 program within our district & learn ways to help their students at home.

How did you overcome potential barriers and take advantage of these opportunities?

At present, we are working from the 'top down'.  We have obtained funding/budget $ figures and will be meeting with our administrators to inquire about various aspects of the Title 1 program in our district.  We have done a significant amount of research, gathered assessment materials from state & national organizations and have Title 1 experts on hand to assist us with this process.
