Groups to lobby for early childhood education Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

A coalition of over 1,200 members announced a new campaign, First Steps PA, which intends to education voters about the importance of early childhood education. 

 

Hazleton wants to open charter school The Times Leader

Supporters of the Valley Academy Charter School have collected the necessary signatures to present their case to the PA Department of Education, bringing them one step close to opening a charter school in the Hazleton Area School District.
